Rhode Island Waterfront Contemporary Kitchen

This huge luxury kitchen has plenty of space to work with. Because of this, we wanted to create a true chef’s kitchen with professional appliances, and sleek modern European cabinets.

The big kitchen island extends the entire length of the kitchen with a waterfall countertop. Hanging from the high ceilings above the island is a contemporary Edison bulb chandelier.

Throughout this custom kitchen are minimalist two tone cabinets with a handleless design. A dark grey oak and gloss white veneer were used for a contemporary look. These neutral finishes look sophisticated when paired with the medium natural wood tones of the floor.

Other than the integrated fridge, there are no hidden kitchen appliances. Instead, the professional appliances stand out with a stainless steel finish. Doing this lends to the contemporary design of this European kitchen.

While the luxury kitchen is usually the star of the show, this condo has an additional over the top feature. Because of the open floor plan, the oversized wine storage wall can easily be seen from the kitchen. This modern wine wall divides the space, separating the wet bar from the cooking space.
