A SMALL SPACE OPENS UP FOR BIG VIEWS

Nestled into the Boston Waterfront, this Rowes Wharf home renovation takes a small space and opens it up to not just a more functional way of living - but accentuates the dreamy views of the harbor below. Our design team recognized how the use of both dark and light tones throughout the home could effectively make this wharf-side oasis into a showstopping reality. Working with our friends in Spain, the designers here at DDC selected custom kitchen cabinetry to further the need for simple, yet dramatic updates. Cool, modern appeals are made in combination with classic, dark auras found in the stone selection for the countertops along with the niche shelving above the wet bar.

The key to this home’s successful design is the intricate details found only in modern, European design. One of our favorite way to work these luxury details into the space - and really play up the timeless, yet trendsetting design choices made - come by way of undershelf lighting dusted throughout the kitchen and wet bar. Lighting, as we know, exudes an almost theatrical kind of drama - drawing the eye from left-to-right. Likewise, our designers integrated custom European-style walk-in closet systems to give the client their dream his and her wardrobes.
