White Modern Kitchen With Wolf Pro Range in Boston’s South End

Doing a major renovation on this Boston South End custom kitchen presented a challenge to our designers. There are high ceilings but not a lot of square footage. Because of this, we forgoed a separate eat-in kitchen and created a breakfast bar on the large kitchen island. This created an open concept for free movement around the kitchen.

For the cabinets, Leicht European cabinets were used with a matte white veneer. The grip rail integrated handles give this luxury kitchen a modern look. Complementing the modern design are the stainless steel and concrete countertops. Industrial pendant lights mirror the slightly industrial look of this European kitchen.

Sleek modern Wolf professional appliances stand out with stainless steel finishes. This carries the look of a professional chef's kitchen throughout the space. However, to ensure this chic kitchen doesn’t become too minimalistic,

A custom stone backsplash elevates the design. The use of natural materials, such as the stone and natural wood tones in the flooring, gives the kitchen a high end feeling without it becoming over the top.

There weren’t a lot of options to add integrated lighting, and there is plenty of natural light coming in through the large glass doors. However, we added strategic spotlighting to create much-needed task lighting.

Instead of doing an integrated fridge design, we encased the fridge while leaving the front open. This contributes to the industrial modern design.
