Transitional Eclectic Kitchen in Winchester, MA
The owners of this beautiful Boston brownstone-inspired home wanted to have an eclectic transitional kitchen with contemporary touches. The challenge to our designers was to design a custom kitchen in the limited space. There was not enough room for a huge luxury kitchen with a big kitchen island.
We kept the center of this custom kitchen open, allowing the owners to add a butcher block island on wheels later. Italian cabinets in a dark grey were used. They feature slab fronts with integrated handles in brushed nickel.
The integrated fridge features a matching front panel. This streamlines the look of this Italian kitchen by not allowing the appliances to detract from the transitional design.
Having the kitchen be connected to the bright blue sofa makes this space perfect for cooking while entertaining.
Topping the Leicht custom cabinets are quartz countertops in a soft white. A custom backsplash covers the walls in a mosaic tile pattern. The appliances were also upgraded to Thermador professional appliances as a part of this major renovation.
Mounted on the walls are open shelving with integrated lighting. This gives this transitional kitchen a sophisticated design while maintaining the open concept.
