Modern Concrete Kitchen in Newton, MA

The unique shape of this modern Boston kitchen presented a challenge for our designers. Unlike the open floor plans of contemporary big luxury kitchens, this kitchen’s design is more closed in with angled walls.

Our client wanted a modern minimalistic design, so instead of natural wood tones, white and grey two tone cabinets dominate the space, similar to German kitchens. Integrated lighting mounted into the underside of these luxury cabinets illuminate the countertops underneath. This makes cooking easier as this focused task lighting provides plenty of light.

A centralized big kitchen island increases the amount of countertop space. It also creates a place to sit, making this sleek modern custom kitchen better for entertaining. A wine fridge in the kitchen island keeps cold wine storage handy while entertaining.

The textured grey design elevates the look of these German cabinets. A two-tone cabinet design is used to prevent them from overwhelming the space. The cabinets are handleless, while the integrated professional appliances have brushed nickel hardware.
