Frank Lloyd Wright Modern Kitchen in Newton, MA

This home's entire architecture and design are like an homage to Frank Lloyd Wright. The famous American architect and designer is known for creating beautiful mid century modern masterpieces that blend into the surrounding environment. Our designers wanted to stay true to this iconic style using geometric shapes and organic lines. 

We started with German cabinets that have off white high gloss lacquer veneer. Then elevated this luxury cabinetry with a red line accenting the custom backsplash and covering the niche open shelving. 

Vaulted high ceilings open up this custom kitchen. A large skylight in the ceiling provides plenty of natural light, bringing nature in. A sandstone accent wall and light wood tones of the flooring bring in the nature elements that are so often seen in mid century modern design. 

A uniquely shaped big kitchen island follows the natural organic lines of the kitchen. This helped the kitchen retain its open concept while staying true to modern mid-century design. 

A design choice was to have an integrated fridge with panels matching the Leicht German kitchens. While an appliances garage stands out as an accent that provides storage for hidden kitchen appliances.
