“I worked with Jana Neudel to renovate my kitchen and dining room earlier this spring. My house is an older city rowhome that presented a lot of design challenges (relatively small space, uneven floors, low ceilings, odd layout) and I was blown away by the options that Jana presented. She managed to fit in everything I wanted - more storage, better flow, a brighter and more modern space - and added touches I hadn’t thought of. We fine-tuned the design over a series of meetings and when the process started, I was amazed at how smoothly it went. Communication was terrific throughout, and my renovations were completed on time and within budget. “We moved to Wellesley from out of state in July of 2015 pregnant, knowing absolutely nobody (contractors included) into a house that was stuck in the 1960’s. We needed to hire someone for a full first floor remodel that stayed within our budget, completed the project within the timeline (baby oh baby!) and could take our input and create something that works with our life. After calling literally ALL of their referrals, we decided to go with them and couldn’t be happier. Jana Neudel was our designer and created an floor plan that I never would have imagined. It was amazing to have to only pick from 3 options for anything you have to pick out so I wasn’t paralyzed by the choices.Of course there were glitches in our project. There will be in every project. Our existing electrical and plumbing was a mess so that was no surprise. The demo crew broke one of my flower pots but they paid us back to replace the pair. Our plumbing from the 2nd floor was leaking onto our brand new ceiling on the first floor (GASP) and we figured out where the leak was coming from and fixed it. There were a few things that once installed I didn’t like at first. Maybe it was because I didn’t think that was what it was going to be like. Who knows. I am clearly not an architect or a designer because when I sat on it for awhile, they grew on me. There is a reason they have their job and I have mine.In the end, we love our result. They finished within the 14 week time period. We went over budget only due to having to fix some pre-existing electrical work that wasn’t originally in the scope of the project. Our “Eclectic Colonial in Wellesley” is perfect for us!”

She was up to date on the entire project and very responsive. She met with us and went through the whole project and reviewed each choice with us as the project went along.
