Cambridge Memorial Ave Contemporary Modern Leicht Kitchen

Our designers enjoyed working with the condo owner to do a major renovation in this classic brick building in Cambridge. The biggest challenge of this contemporary custom kitchen is the limited space. This condo really goes all in on the open layout of the space.

We used European kitchens as inspiration to create a chic design that blends with the rest of the living space. The dark wood flooring creates a sophisticated and high end feel to the small condo. It also brings natural warm tones to the two tone cabinets in grey and white.

A high gloss finish on the flat panel Leicht European cabinets reflects light into the room for a naturally brighter space. Using grey upper custom cabinets and white below balances the dark wood flooring. It also takes full advantage of the high ceilings. 

Keeping this contemporary kitchen neutral allows for more creative and bold design choices elsewhere. Meile professional appliances and brushed chrome accessories complete the contemporary design. 

To make the most of the space, a small workspace was added next to the window in the kitchen. A desk area was built into the countertop and open shelving on the wall behind.
