Fun Contemporary Leicht Kitchen in Brookline, MA
The most luxurious and high end German kitchens still have personality. This eclectic custom kitchen features a contemporary design with personal touches throughout. The home’s open floor plan meant our designers needed to be mindful of the client’s chic design style.
There is no traditional eat-in kitchen, so we created a small space at the end of the kitchen island as part of the major renovation. In addition, niche open shelving was built into the end of the custom cabinetry to create a display space.
Because there’s so much color and pattern throughout the living space, we avoided a colorful kitchen island. Instead, we kept it white with a contemporary Leicht kitchen with matt white flat paneled Italian cabinets. This creates the look of painted white kitchen cabinets but with a high-end feel.
Oak veneer custom cabinetry adds natural wood tones while hiding an integrated fridge. Instead of using handles, we chose an integrated handle design. This adds to the contemporary look and emulates the look of luxury kitchens in 2023.
We chose a white back-painted glass custom backsplash. It creates a clean backdrop for professional appliances.
