Seaside Contemporary Leicht Kitchen in Scituate, MA
This modern cape home needed a refresh with a major renovation of the kitchen. Our designers worked with the homeowner to design a bright and fresh kitchen. The open concept helps the space to feel bigger. In addition, we used a white monotone color scheme to maximize the visual effect of the high ceilings.
There is an almost modern farm house feel to this custom kitchen. The Leicht white custom cabinetry features flat panel fronts with brushed nickel handles and pulls. This creates a more contemporary design than a minimalist one.
A texture white custom backsplash covers the entire wall above the cooktop. A Modo light rail acts as an open shelf above the cooktop. The integrated lighting adds a contemporary glow to the backsplash.
Porcelanosa countertops complete the look of this German kitchen. A breakfast bar is built into the countertop, creating a casual place for entertaining. Just beyond this bar, there is an eat-in kitchen. The open floor plan makes bringing food from the kitchen to the table convenient when cooking.
Medium hardwood floors bring warmth and contemporary luxury to the kitchen. This keeps the German kitchen from feeling too cold and sterile.
