Transitional Kitchen Addition In Colonial Newton, MA Home

We love when we get the opportunity to help homeowners with major renovations. This Boston colonial has plenty of space in its open floor plan. This allowed for a big kitchen island. Transitional pendant lights hang from the high ceilings overhead the Cambria countertop.

Glass French doors open up the end of this transitional Italian kitchen to an ample outdoor deck area. There was also enough space for an eat-in kitchen.

The off white shaker Italian cabinets were a perfect addition with decorative crown molding and minimalist hardware. For the custom backsplash, mosaic tile was used. It covers the walls throughout this transitional kitchen, including a decorative space by the exterior door.

A bar area was created on one side of the kitchen with matching custom cabinetry. We included glass front cabinets and a built-in wine fridge.

At the far end of the kitchen, there are Thermador professional appliances with double stacked ovens and an integrated fridge. Hiding the fridge is a common design trend in 2023 that is seen in huge luxury kitchens.
