Light & Dark Traditional Kitchen in Newton, MA

The simple sophistication of this traditional luxury kitchen helps this custom kitchen to feel high end. This starts with the white custom cabinetry that can be seen throughout the kitchen. There are elegant touches, such as crown molding along the top and decorative touches around the range hood. 

In keeping with traditional kitchen design, oil-rubbed bronze fixtures were used for the cabinet handles, pulls, and sink faucet. In addition, a large wrought iron chandelier hangs from the high ceiling. 

For the countertops, dark granite was used. This creates a bold contrast in this huge luxury kitchen. We added a custom backsplash to keep this Italian kitchen from becoming dull. A multi-color mosaic tile pattern highlights the luxury appliances. 

On the other side of the kitchen sits an integrated fridge. Adding a panel front hides this large appliance, helping to maintain a cohesive design. 

One standout feature of this traditional kitchen is the arched doorway. These double French doors take up the majority of one side of the kitchen. A large arch across the top is an over the top design.
