Modern Kitchen & Dry Bar in Newton, MA

We love the eclectic design of this modern kitchen. We combined German cabinets with rich wood tones and white custom cabinetry in the main kitchen area. The two tone cabinets have a unique design, with the darker wood custom cabinets lining the walls and the lighter white German cabinets lower. 

Elevating this modern kitchen’s design is a stone backsplash with bold graining. W positioned two pieces together for a chic design. The angle also prevents the stone graining from visually clashing with the wood graining. 

The open concept of this modern kitchen helps it to feel chic. It also leaves space for a small kitchen island in the center. Then lining one wall is luxury cabinetry that holds the Wolf luxury appliances and integrated fridge. 

In addition to the kitchen, we also designed a matching wet bar. We continued the modern two tone cabinets. However, instead of another stone backsplash, we chose to add an eclectic touch with a pale blue tile custom backsplash. 

To complete the bar, a wine fridge with a glass and panel front matches the white cabinetry. In addition, we replaced the solid upper cabinet fronts with glass doors. Then we added glass shelving and integrated lighting. This allows for a showcase of glassware or rare alcohol bottles.
