Traditional Kitchen With Two-Tone Island In Metrowest, MA

The open floor plan of this traditional kitchen allows for free movement while cooking. It’s perfect for a busy family, with professional appliances,  a large kitchen island, and plenty of pantry storage. 

The custom cabinetry features traditional detailing. However, we took a fresh take using a two tone cabinet design. The wall cabinets are white, while the kitchen island has a wood finish.

Elegant marble countertops top the German cabinets for a high end touch. The natural graining of the stone picks up the rich colors of the natural wood tones. A custom backsplash also picks up these colors. Square tiles are arranged on an angle with a smaller accent tile. 

To turn this German kitchen into a big luxury kitchen, we added personalized touches. A small appliance garage holds the hidden kitchen appliances. Integrated lighting adds accent light that highlights the traditional features of this sophisticated kitchen space.
